RENEWALS, AUTOMATIC RENEWALS, NEW MEMBERSHIPS AND PROFILE CHANGES
  • Marin CAMFT memberships are due to be renewed on January 1 of each year. There is currently a 30-day grace period for renewal, after which there will be a $15 Reapplication Fee. If you choose the new Automatic Renewal option you will be billed automatically (on your PayPal account) on the same day each year unless you specify that you wish to stop the automatic payment.

  • TO RENEW: Click on the blue login link at the top left of this page, then type in your email address and password. (If you have never logged in on this website, you will need to click the change password link and enter the new password you have chosen)

  • Click your name at the top left of this page, which will take you to a page where you are able to see the edit profile link. 

  • Click renew until Sunday, January 1, 2018 and review the information. 

  • Click the confirm and proceed with payment link. This link will take you to PayPal, where you can enter your payment information securely. PLEASE NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY USE YOUR CREDIT CARD THROUGH YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT--If you don't have a PayPal account, it is relatively easy to set one up. This website is not currently configured to take individual credit cards.

  • If you prefer not to use an online form, CLICK HERE to download a membership application to print, fill out and mail to Marin CAMFT AT MARIN CAMFT MEMBERSHIP, PO BOX 9065, SAN RAFAEL, CA 94912 with your check. 

NEW MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS
  • CLICK HERE to go to the Online Membership Application or CLICK HERE to download a hard copy.
  • Select the desired membership level and click the "Next" button at the bottom right of the page. NOTE: You can now select an Automatic Payment Level for Clinical and Associate Memberships (you will need to pay online).
  • Complete the Member Application. If you do not want information to show in the directory, leave the field blank. However, we do require your name, email, phone and mailing address. Your mailing address will not show and you have the option of excluding your email or phone from the directory (see below).
  • The Short Description (199 characters max) is what appears in the initial search screen. Both the short and the long Descriptions (2950 characters max) appear in your profile.
  • Note: Under "Areas of Interest," please do not select more than 5 areas. Any selections after the first 5 will be removed (this is done for reasons of fairness to other therapists in the directory). Clinical Orientation is limited to 4, and Office Locations to 2. CLICK HERE for more on why.
  • Don't forget to upload your professional photo!
  • Go to the bottom of the page and enter the Code as displayed (this is for security reasons).
  • Click "Next" at the very bottom right of the page.
  • Review and confirm that the information is correct. Click the "Confirm and proceed with payment" button.
    • If you would like to pay online, click the "Pay online" button to use your PayPal account.
    • If you would like to pay by check, click on the invoice that was created, print and mail with check to: Marin CAMFT, PO Box 9065, San Rafael, CA 94912 
    • If you have opted for a paper application, please fill it out and send it with a check to Marin CAMFT, PO Box 9065, San Rafael, CA 94912. Please follow up with an email to the Membership Director or Webmaster.
  • You will receive an email confirming this transaction when it is entered into the system.
  • Your new membership will be activated instantly if you paid online. Note: it may take 1-3 weeks for your mailed check to be credited to your account.

ACCESSING YOUR PROFILE FOR THE FIRST TIME  

  • Click the "Login" button at the upper right of this page.
  • Click on "Forgot password" to the right of the "Login" button on this login page.
  • Enter the email address you used with your Marin CAMFT membership and click submit. If you are unsure of the email address, check the Licensed Therapists' Directory  or the Prelicensed Therapists' Directory, if you are in the appropriate directory, it will have your email.
  • An email will be sent to you containing a link to setup your new password.
  • If you get "Error warning: Email not found", the email is not in the system. If you have another email you might try it. Also, remember that Marin CAMFT membership is separate from the state CAMFT membership. If you are not in our system, the easiest thing to do would be to CLICK HERE to sign up as a new member. Or you can contact Pam Sweeney, who will check whether you are in the system and update your email address. Please state your full name.
  • After setting up a new password, you can now login into your profile via the login box (at the upper right of this page).
  • The first time you login you will be asked, "I agree to terms of use for this website software," click the check box if you agree.
  • You will now be in your profile - See "Update Your Profile" instructions below.

RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP

  • Click the "Login" button at the upper left of this page, then enter your information.

  • Click on your name (in blue at the upper left of this page)
  • Click the "Renew until 20xx" button.
  • Please review your profile and make any desired additions or changes. NOTE: You may now select Automatic Payment to have your membership renewed automatically for you on the date you make the payment. You may also turn off your automatic payment if you wish to go back to manual payments. Please make sure that you select your preferred mode of receiving your election materials and quarterly newsletter. If you do not want your information to show in the directory, leave that field blank. However, we do require your name, email, phone and mailing address. Your mailing address will not show and you have the option of excluding your email or phone from the directory, see "How to hide your email or phone number in your public Directory profile" at the bottom or the page.
  • Click on the "Update and next" button.
  • Review the information and click the "Confirm and proceed with payment" button.
    • If you would like to pay online, click the "Pay online" button to pay with your credit or debit card.
    • If you would like to pay by check, click on the invoice that was created, print and mail with check to: Marin CAMFT, PO Box 9065, San Rafael, CA 94912 (Note it may take 1-3 weeks for your mailed check to be processed)
  • You will receive emails confirming this transaction.
  • Your new membership will be updated instantly if you paid with a credit or debit card, or at the time when we receive and process your mailed check.

UPDATE YOUR PROFILE

  • Click the "Login" button at the upper left of this page, then enter your information.
  • Click on your name (in blue at the upper left of the page)
  • Click "Edit profile"
  • Please review your profile and make any desired additions or changes. Please make sure that you select your preferred mode of receiving your election materials and quarterly newsletter. If you do not want your information to show in the directory, leave the field blank. However, we do require your name, email, phone and mailing address. Your mailing address will not show and you have the option of excluding your email or phone from the directory (see below).

HOW TO HIDE YOUR EMAIL OR PHONE NUMBER IN YOUR PUBLIC DIRECTORY PROFILE 
  • Click the "Login" button at the upper left of this page, then enter your information.
  • Click on your name (in blue at the upper left of this page)
  • Click "Edit profile"
  • Click "Privacy"
  • If you do not want to your email to show click "No access" for Email. Or if you only want to be contacted by email, you would click "No access" for Phone (normally if you do not want information to show in the directory, you would leave the field blank, but we require email and phone, so this gives you a way for you to hide it if you prefer).
  • Please leave the rest of the selections as they are.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "save"
  • Then click "Logout" at the top right of the page.

FORGOT PASSWORD

  • Click the "Login" button at the upper left of this page.
  • Click on "Forgot password" to the right of the login button.
  • Enter the email address you used with your Marin CAMFT membership and click submit. If you are unsure of the email address, you might check the Therapist Directory, if you are in it, it will have your email.
  • An email will be sent to you containing a link to setup your password.

Or contact Membership Director or the Webmaster, Pam Sweeney and she will check to see if you are in the system and update or enter your email address. Be sure to give your full name.
