Pre-licensed members: Please join the Marin CAMFT 3,000 Hour Club for a Happy Hour on Wednesday, July 8th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Flatiron in San Rafael. Appetizers will be provided.

The 3000 Hour Club is a social, professional, networking and consulting group for all students, trainees and associates interested in meeting and connecting with others in Marin working toward licensure. Whether you have yet to gain your first hour or are nearing the magical 3,000 hours, we'd love for you to join us.

BRIDGING THE BAY 2026 CAMFT CHAPTER HIKE SERIES: MARIN HEADLANDS HIKE JULY 18

Hawk Hill/Coastal Trail/Julian Trail

Continuing in the successful hiking series, this second of three hikes in 2026 will take place in Marin. The hike begins at Hawk Hill, with views overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. This area is visited by as many as 19 species of raptors, the Mission blue butterfly, and has a historic World War II military battery installation. The weather should be good, but the headlands sometimes gets morning fog, so optional layers might be a good idea.

Come out to meet other bay-area therapists while taking in the unique natural beauty that each region has to offer.

Trail Information

When: Saturday, July 18 at 9:20am
Parking: Free. It is a popular spot, so budget a little extra time to get situated in a spot in the lot.
Estimated Distance (out and back): 3.64 miles
Time: Allow for 2-2.5 hours.
Elev. Gain: 764ft.
Dogs: Because of protected wildlife areas, dogs are not allowed
Spouses/partners are allowed. Please no children.

Marin CAMFT is hosting an in-person Membership Meeting and Fall Celebration!

Sunday, October 4 from 12pm to 3pm

Fall Celebration

We are excited to welcome CAMFT Executive Directory Joy Alafia, MBA, CAE, who will be joining us as special guest.

The Membership Meeting will be a chance to participate in the running of our chapter. Learn about positions that are coming up for election, committees that you can join, and experience how this volunteer-led organization functions. The Meeting Agenda will be sent out to registered members in advance. If any member would like to put an item on the agenda, please email info@marincamft.org by September 20.

While the Membership Meeting is important, the main purpose of this in-person gathering is to increase connection within our community of therapists. Please join us for mingling, conversation, and camaraderie.
