Description of Practice
It has been my privilege to work with many people with a variety of concerns. My specialty is Developmental Trauma, a form of PTSD due to childhood abuse, be it emotional, physical and/or sexual. Depression, anxiety and relationship challenges are often what comes from such trauma. I offer skilled guidance for recovery from Developmental Trauma. Additionally I provide: pre-marital and couples counseling, help for those immersed in loss and grief for a loved person or pet, guidance to parents and children. I also offer coaching for those making a major life transitions and/or career change.
My orientation is attachment based, using much of AEDP combined with somatic awareness, insight, self reflection, mindfulness and relational work. Your spiritual orientation is welcomed into the work in whatever form you chose. I bring humor and levity into our sessions when appropriate and my passion to assist you however I can.
