Too often, when it comes to the treatment of sex addiction, betrayed partners feel isolated, embarrassed, hurt, and deeply confused. They are often wonder who their relationship partner really is, what other secrets they have, and how they can possibly move past this immense pain. In this training, Certified Sex Addition Therapist and Certified Clinical Partner Specialist Jeanne Vattuone will describe the unique experiences of sex addiction betrayed partners and the recommended assessment and treatment protocols for this population. The unique experience of sexual trauma via the addictive relationship will also be discussed in detail.

Licensed as a LCSW since 1998, Jeanne Vattuone has helped those affected by traumatic experiences for over twenty years. She has worked in school systems, child protective services, private foster care, crisis response to natural disasters and private practice focusing on trauma and addiction. Jeanne is certified as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Supervisor (CSAT-S), a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist Supervisor (CCPS-S) and is trained in EMDR and Brainspotting. Jeanne is co-founder of Willow Tree Counseling, an intensive outpatient program for sex addicts and betrayed partners in Northern California.
Jeanne embraces the trauma model for her work with partners as well as addicts, and is a consistent presenter at national conferences about sex addiction and partner betrayal.
She volunteers with Green Cross, an organization that provides crisis trauma services to those impacted by national disasters, enjoys organic gardening and volunteering with local animal rescue agencies.
