Marin CAMFT Community Gathering and Chat on the Coronavirus
Dear Members of the Marin CAMFT Community,
The coronavirus has brought sudden and major changes to our practices as well as to the lives of our clients, our loved ones, and each of us personally.
In response, Marin CAMFT is holding a free online community chat event this Sunday March 29 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm for our members to connect with each other and talk about how things have been for us professionally and personally.
Many of us feel overwhelmed, uncertain, anxious — as well as at times perhaps even hopeful or inspired — by what is happening in our lives and practices. As therapists, we support so many people who are also feeling overwhelmed, anxious and alone in life right now. This Sunday’s community chat is an opportunity for each of us to feel supported within our therapeutic community.
Members can discuss how we are coping with changes in our practices, including the transition to online therapy for those doing so. We can share experiences as well as tips and suggestions. And we’ll have plenty of space and time to speak personally about our experiences during this crisis. It’s a chance to feel connected.
If you aren’t able to participate for the full 90 minutes, just drop in at any time for a quick hello and stay as long as you like. Let's hang out; casual is the word. Pajamas okay :)
