Marin CAMFT member Lois Friedlander, MFT, is offering a support group for newly licensed therapists. This is not a formal Marin CAMFT Chapter Event however we are posting her invitation for all who are interested. Please contact Lois directly at lois@loismft.com with questions or to join her group.
It has been a pleasure to grow our group! We never know where these groups will take us. Last month a new member joined us, Welcome Bethany Hoffman, MFT. She has a background and expertise in Hospice and is in the process of building her private practice. We are here to provide support as you lay the foundation to build your careers. This group is yours to decide the topic. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. We network, and ask and answer lots of questions about all aspects of our work. From nuts and bolts, brick and mortar, agency to private practice and everything in between. If time allows we dissect a puzzling case. Coming up on the anniversary of our first year of meetings we are now referring clients to each other! As an experienced group psychotherapist I'll be active in guiding our discussion. The NEWLY LICENSED SUPPORT GROUP is open to members of MCAMFT, RECAMFT, EBCAMFT and SFCAMFT. We will meet once a month on a Sunday (usually the 3rd Sunday) at 5pm. Next date is October 17 at 5pm.
