Description of Practice
To me the relationship is so important. There is great benefit when we gradually reveal our most personal thoughts and feelings to a deeply attached and respectful other. I am honored when my clients feel safe disclosing their most troubling secrets. We all have them. Self-awareness is life changing. Therapy includes information. Where one client gains skill in regulating anger another discovers giving voice to anger helps accomplish their goal. My client's unique goal becomes my goal; although sometimes the therapy is discovering that goal or the goal may change. I work with individuals, couples, families and teens.

If your goal is to increase your capacity to love another; to learn self-love; to acquire parenting tools; to improve relationship skills; or simply because you are hurting and/or feel stuck, I can help. Together we will untangle the struggles, identify the obstacles and develop steps toward transforming and enhancing your life.

In a warm, honest, non judging environment you may perhaps for the first time, feel heard and seen. This is when personal growth occurs. I have training and experience with complex trauma (I've worked in a crisis unit), addiction, depression, anxiety, transitions, grief/loss as well as mood disorders. I hold several training certifications.
