Description of Practice
Well Coast Medical is a team of therapists and psychiatric providers offering in-person and telehealth psychiatric evaluations, medical management and therapy for children, adolescents and adults in California and Oregon. We specialize in depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and panic disorders, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, formerly called ADD), child and parenting issues, stress, insomnia and relationship issues. Our providers use multiple modalities of psychotherapy, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, trauma-focused therapy (EMDR), cognitive behavioral, DBT and mindfulness based approaches. We tailor each psychotherapeutic and medication intervention to the individual client and issues presented, taking care to understand and work within the framework of psychological, social and biological factors unique to each individual. We are in-network with most PPO insurances, including Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, Optum/United Healthcare, and we also accept Medicare. Our providers work as a team to provide comprehensive mental health care and value collaboration with outside providers to enhance client care. We are LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse affirming.
