Description of Practice
Hi!
My name is Darshana Weill and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist. Prior to becoming a therapist I served individuals as a health and life coach for 20 years.
My passion for this work stems from my own search to know myself. My path took me to live in big cities, small rural towns and even ashrams/communes. Because I believe that one gets to know themselves in relationship to others, and life itself, I have used the challenges of my life as opportunities for growth and inspiration. I am grateful for the various forms of therapy, personal growth workshops and meditation retreats I have been privileged to partake in over the last three decades of my life.
Deciding to go to graduate school and receive my MFT was a decision I made in order to serve more people.
My intention as a therapist is to bring the gifts I have received, about learning to be a human being, to you.
I stand by the principles of honesty and transparency. My approach is grounded in compassion, understanding, and empathy, ​yet I am direct, down to earth and practical.
