Short Description
Whatever brings you to therapy, I welcome you here. I'm a psychotherapist with specialized training in adolescent and LGBTQIA+ mental health.
Description of Practice
My practice focuses on tweens, teens, young adults, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. Before opening my practice I spent a number of years working in community mental health at a local nonprofit dedicated to serving LGBTQIA+ youth and families. I wore different hats there - as both a therapist and the Director of Mental Health.

I am well-prepared to support individuals with presenting concerns related to anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, relationships, school, work and family stress, communication, attachment, identity, gender, life transitions, and trauma-related symptoms. An immense amount of healing can happen when there's space to explore identity, increase self-understanding, and process past experiences. My practice is affirming, relational, collaborative, and celebratory of our collective resilience. I draw from psychodynamic and humanistic theories, minority stress model and trauma-informed care, and mindfulness, somatic, CBT, and expressive arts techniques.

As a queer therapist whose work has centered around uplifting LGBTQIA+ individuals and improving relationships between LGBTQIA+ young people and their families, our work together will be nonpathologizing, open, and creative. My clients would describe me as warm, relatable, and genuine. While the journey of growth and healing can be beautifully messy and complex I make room for joy and authentic connection in our work.

Finding a therapist you mesh with can be a process that takes time, resources, and energy. I invite you to contact me with questions you may have about working together. I'm happy to schedule a no-cost consultation, so we can get to know one another, and I can learn about how to best support you.
