Short Description
Specialist in treating relationship issues. Therapy for permanent change, for both individuals and couples.
Description of Practice
My long term practice has been focused on helping clients achieve permanent change. By establishing a very collaborative, empathic relationship, we are able to explore aspects of the individual's or couples' experience that have been out of awareness yet nonetheless influence and shape the realities of their lives. I'm particularly skilled in helping clients shift out of long-standing reactive patterns that aren't working well for them. In addition, I also have a specialty in addressing sexuality issues, including concerns about sexual functioning, desire issues and disparities, as well as sexual orientation questions. I strive to quickly establish a sense of comfort, acceptance and rapport with a wide range of clients.

I have taught at a number of Bay Area universities and consult at local mental health agencies and am active in a number of professional associations.
