Description of Practice
I've been doing psychotherapy for over 30 years working with individuals, couples and families. My approach is holistic, integrating the connection between mind, body, heart and spirit. Certified in EMDR by the EMDR International Institute, I find EMDR to be a powerful tool that facilitates healing especially when dealing with trauma or very painful, stuck areas of life.
I like to establish a therapeutic relationship of trust and safety. From that foundation, it is possible to understand more deeply your problems, identity and to express feelings - ultimately learn how to have more choices in life, more fulfillment with health and positive change.
My style as a therapist is interactive and practical integrating years of an eclectic background in Jungian psychology, dreamwork, body awareness and in depth psychotherapy. I also am a longtime meditator and student of the Diamond approach.
