Description of Practice
Certified in IMAGO RELATIONSHIP THERAPY, I help couples learn the art of the "mindful dialogue" and other relationship skills that restores a feeling of connection. That feeling of connection bridges differences while lowering defenses to the very intimacy we seek. IMAGO is Based on the best selling book: GETTING THE LOVE YOU WANT, by Harville Hendrix, PhD. In this work, Couples experience the qualities of compassion and empathy, respect and share a deeper mutual understanding. Becoming better listeners, We practice the "Listening Cure" and in turn feel heard by our partner. This transforms power struggles and conflict into growth and healing opportunities with our beloved. Individuals can also practice mindfulness and somatic awareness in preparation for their next relationship Journey. In this way, we become the skilled partner that we want to attract: GIVING THE LOVE THAT HEALS, and KEEPING THE LOVE YOU FIND.
