Short Description
Longing to deepen your relationships? On the brink of addressing long-standing challenges? Or ADHD questions? Or, parenting stressing you?
Description of Practice
I specialize in couples therapy as well as ADHD, all ages. I also offer 2 day couples intensives.

Whether you desire to deepen or improve your partnering relationship and communication, parent well, savor long term relationships, repair, accept or end difficult relationships, I can help you face what you think you cannot, develop hope for what's possible for you, try on new ways of being in the world that fit you and not your wounds, separate what's personal from what's not, and find deep intimacy with yourself and others.

Deepening the capacity for relatedness as well as developing new specific tools, skills and approaches to life are hallmarks of the rewarding work we do together.

I also work specifically with the challenges of AD/HD, for all ages and all types. My foundation is research-validated information and practices, my approach is collaborative and educational as well as therapeutic. I help parents parent the child they have, youth learn how to understand and work with their strengths and challenges and advocate for themselves, adults conquer the frequent greasy build up of ADHD, particular the common, understandable avoidance tactics.

Working with adults who were relationally traumatized as children is also a long-time rewarding arena in which I am privileged to accompany those in often hidden pain come to remarkable new narratives about who they are and how they are.

Couples work, whether short term efforts to feel safer and more excited about one's relationship or longer term couples work to digest affairs, sexual or other behavioral addictions, build authentic vulnerability and strength, move beyond painful losses, is always challenging and deeply moving when changes begin to occur.
