President's Update on COVID-19 and Marin CAMFT Like many organizations, Marin CAMFT is closely monitoring the pandemic. As long as COVID-19 remains a health risk, we will continue to take all necessary precautionary measures recommended by the Marin County and California Departments of Public Health. Based on the current recommendations of local and state public health department, all our chapter's events are currently offered online via Zoom video. Individually as therapists and collectively as an organization of mental health professionals, we know the importance of staying connected, especially at a time of increased isolation and anxiety. MCAMFT is working diligently to offer our members various ways to stay connected. Our Continuing Education program is one way to earn CEs and connect with your colleagues. And we continue to provide outstanding CE lectures and workshops that are especially timely during this pandemic, social turmoil, economic distress, and political tumult. As we finalize the times and dates for each event, we will let you know by email as well as postings on the Marin CAMFT website and Listserv. You can check for the latest on upcoming events on our Events Page. For as long as is necessary, we are commited to finding solutions to any limitations due to public health concerns. We will keep you posted by email and on this site about any changes in our programming. Please take care, stay well and stay strong, President, Marin CAMFT |
