Mari Lee, LMFT, CSAT, is a leading expert and national speaker, a popular workshop trainer and co-author of Facing Heartbreak: Steps to Recovery for Partners of Sex Addicts. Mari is recognized for her groundbreaking clinical work with both straight and gay spouses/partners as well as her work with sex addicts. She supervises other therapists in training for certification in sex addiction and consults with fellow clinicians interested in treating this unique group of clients.
Combining lecture, video, and small group training, this fast-paced seminar covers a wealth of information in treating partners of sex addicts, including: psychoeducation about sex addiction, the multidimensional trauma model of sex addiction, assessment tools for partners of sex addicts, the 7-step recovery task model for partners, treatment planning, clinical case examples and how to assist the partner in executing clinical treatment tasks and goals. Attendees will have the opportunity to practice some of the tools that are critical for effective treatment.
