Short Description
Compassionate caring therapy for children, teens and adults. Experience and knowledge in treating people with trauma.
Description of Practice
I use EMDR and Internal Family Systems and "Parts Work". I enjoy working with adults, families, children and teens, and I can also help people who are struggling with parenting while sheltering in place. I've been immersed in treating trauma for the past several years, but I also have a long history of working with people in recovery from substance abuse, (very familiar with many 12 step programs), and I also work with family members of alcoholics or addicts. Some of my background in the substance use field led me to train in Harm Reduction and Motivational Interviewing so I frequently see people who are concerned about their drinking but are interested in Moderation Management - ie Harm Reduction.

Moderation Management Group for problem drinkers who are NOT physically dependent on alcohol but would like help managing their drinking and/or assessing whether moderation or sobriety is the right path. (Not currently in session)
