Description of Practice
Cassandra has dedicated over a decade to serving children and families in a variety of roles. During her undergraduate studies, she interned at a domestic violence shelter for women and children and supported at-risk neurodivergent children in school settings. After pursuing another career path, Cassandra returned to the mental health field in 2020 with a renewed passion. Since then, she has contributed her skills and expertise to various settings, including residential treatment centers, community mental health agencies, juvenile halls, high schools, therapy offices, and crisis units.

Specializing in navigating the complexities of the family system, Cassandra adeptly addresses a range of issues, including compulsive behaviors, concerning teen behavior, and strained relationships. She is particularly skilled in supporting high-achieving families, helping them navigate burnout and find balance. Cassandra excels in nurturing challenging parent-child relationships and providing tailored support, ensuring every family member receives the care and attention they need.

She also provides individual therapy to teens and adults, specializing in compulsive behaviors, neurodiversity, and working with high achievers. She can also help those managing complex relationships and supporting adults recovering from childhood abuse and neglect.

In her therapeutic approach, Cassandra integrates several theories and styles of therapy, including Family Systems Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, and Harm Reduction. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment where families can explore their challenges, heal, and grow.
